Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra recreated Notee Binodini Dasi's iconic look! 4-hour makeup, Rukmini Maitra in Notee Binodini's new look, how unique was the first shot?

The first look was released last year. Actress Rukmini Maitra rocked the face of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's avatar as Notee Binodini.

Now the new poster has come out. And in that, Rukmini Maitra was seen in the mood of Notee Binodini Dasi. 

Ramkamal Mukhopadhyay is directing the movie "Binodini... Ekti Noteer Upakhyan" produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures, Pramod Films and Assorted Motion Pictures.

The shooting of the film started on Monday. And this time the new look has been revealed. In the picture, Rukmini Maitra is wearing a blue saree with a red border. Wears matching jewellery.

Rukmini Maitra was confident about her new look even though there was a little problem at first. In the words of Rukmini Maitra, "I had complete faith in my team. And they did magic. This look took four hours to create."

After posting the picture on Facebook, Rukmini Maitra said that this is her most difficult task as an actress.

As soon as Ramkamal Mukhopadhyay said action, all of Binodini's struggles appeared before his eyes. This is what Rukmini Maitra said.

Ramkamal Mukhopadhyay said that creating the atmosphere of Binodini's period was the most challenging. 

Director Ramkamal Mukhopadhyay is grateful to his team Suchismita Dasgupta (Costume Designer), Bithika Benia (Makeup Artist), and Moushumi Chhetri (Hair Stylist) for this.

Ramkamal Mukhopadhyay said, the original picture of Binodini has not been preserved, so it is almost impossible to understand what kind of saree or jewellery she was wearing at that time. It took the entire team about three weeks to create the design and fabric.

Kaushik Gangopadhyay is going to play the role of Girish Ghosh in this film. Actor Rahul Bose will be seen in the role of Ranga Babu. Soumik Halder is handling the cinematography of this film.
